Assalamualaikum and good evening everyone. It’s been almost a month since I last went out for shooting because busy with work and living life. Hehe. Alhamdulillah, yesterday the weather is great and decided to go out for some photos in the evening. Right after finished some work at the office, I headed to Port Dickson with Shazral. Had checked the tide condition earlier and it’s just perfect to shoot at our favorite spot in PD, the beach near hutan lipur Pasir Panjang. It took about 1 hour+ of driving from Shah Alam to get there.
This shot was taken with a new Canon EOS 600D, a younger brother to my Canon EOS 500D. This camera is great, almost the same durability with my 500D but it came with a bunch of new features which is fantastic. This is not my camera, it belong to my brother in-law, I just borrowed it since my camera has been hospitalized. :p
It was a great evening. After the sun has fully set, suddenly a red colors appear just above the horizon. It was like someone just pull the switch and everything turns on. The red colors starting to form a rays of light and then it started to paint the sky with the beautiful colors. I was blown away at that time. To be honest with you, I was too excited and almost screw up at that time. But luckily I managed to get couple of shots and this is one of them.
Hope you guys like it and feel free to hit share button!

Hey guys! Another sunset shot from Tanjung Aru, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Still got few remaining pictures from the Sabah Photo Tour on April to be uploaded. Check out this burning sunset! It was really beautiful at this time. Subhan’Allah. It’s like a burning paradise! Anyway, I would call this my kind of paradise! š
This is a vertorama image created from two raw shots. One for the sky part and the other one for the bottom part. Strictly no HDR, both exposures were manually blended in photoshop. Hope you guys like it as much as I do! Feel free to share it! Just click the link at the bottom of the image! Thanks in advance!

Assalamualaikum and good evening everyone! Another recent shot from Port Dickson on a simple outing with my Flickr friends. Like I said in my previous post here, even though the sun setting not right in front of this spot, we still got a bit of the colors! I had a great time playing with the waves on that evening! So here’s another result. š This place have a lot of potential for seascape shooting, maybe will pay another visit on low tide after this.
I did some cloning on the right side of the image to get rid a bunch of trees that fall under the frame. It was a very tight spot with lot of trees hanging around all over the place! š

Assalamualaikum and good evening everyone! Hereās my recent shot from Port Dickson on a simple outing with Flickr friends. But too bad that on this spot the sun was setting a bit right to it. Nevertheless, we still got the reflected colors. It was a high tide, I had great time playing with slow shutter and jumping waves! Of course me and my camera are all wet! Maybe I have to upgrade to a weather seal camera and lenses. šĀ This is a single RAW shot taken with 3 stop GND and 3 stop full ND.

Assalamualaikum and Salam Jumaat guys! My Sabah series of photos is coming to the last part, which is at Tg. Aru, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This fiery sunset was captured on our last day and just about 2 hours before our flight back to Kuala Lumpur. It was truly amazing! I can say this is the most beautiful sunset I ever seen and captured so far! This shot almost straight out of camera. I just changed the white balance from auto to daylight. Wicked colors kan! š

Assalamualaikum & selamat malam everyone! A new entry and this time the sunset shot was taken at University Malaysia Sabah (UMS) on nature’s best moment, the magic hour. It’s was a great splash of colors on that evening. Sadly I only managed to get a few good shots only. Find it quite difficult to composed as the tide rising very fast. Anyway,Ā here’s my first shot from UMS.

Bismillah..Hey guys! Here’s my next upload. Sorry for being slow to update my blog. It’s fasting month for our Muslims, plus a bit busy with works and life. Hehe š Another slow shutter shot from Tip of Borneo, this is a landscape version of Twilight Rush Hour. On the first part, it was on vertical mode and you can click here to see it. I miss this place so much right now!
I used a large aperture to captured the motion of the waves because it’s already quite dark at this time. I just want to make it look natural, therefore only a simple post-processing been done. Hope you guys like it and feel free to share!

Assalamualaikum and good day everyone! Another Tip of Borneo shot, but this time on long exposure mode. š It was taken a bit after the Twilight Rush HourĀ shot and it was still on the same composition. A 30 seconds exposure is enough to blur out all the water and we are so fortunate that the sunset was beautiful on that evening!
I forgot to do a video recording for this compo with my camera that’s too bad kan! But luckily I managed to record one with my iPhone at this time. š

About the shot, it was taken on sunrise at Likas mosque in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. It was on our second time here, before we fly back to Kuala Lumpur. As you can see the blue hour is too beautiful!
