Patience vs Faith
Bismillah..Assalamualaikum
This shot is taken on sunrise at Likas mosque in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
It was a lovely morning, this shot was taken on our first day in Sabah. This mosque is amazingly beautiful with the lake around it and it gave a nice reflection when the water’s not moving.
“The keys to patience are acceptance and faith. Accept things as they are, and look realistically at the world around you. Have faith in yourself and in the direction you have chosen.”

The Light of Faith
Assalamualaikum and Salam Jumaat everyone. Another old shot from my archives – This shot was taken on November 19th, 2011 at the well known Huffaz Lake, Darul Quran, Kuala Kubu Bharu. It was an unplanned outing with my friends, just a night before we all having ‘teh tarik‘ together and then suddenly decide to have a visit to DQ. Although the weather forecast said it was going to rain that morning, Alhamdulillah we were blessed with a beautiful sunrise.
About this shot, there is a mistake and careless caused by myself. There is some kind of a resin reflection in my shot (I think it’s my GND filter) my bad I did not checked it properly because I was getting excited when the sun rises and the beautiful colors started to come out. I only checked back after finished shooting that morning. So I did some tweak to clean up the unwanted reflection and alhamdulillah, I think I’ve done it pretty well.
P/s: My advice is, every time after you click your shutter, make sure you check your shot first to prevent anything like this to happened.

Peaceful Harmony
Salam Jumaat for everyone. Another old shot of mine taken at As’Salam mosque on sun rising. As you can see, the colors is so peaceful and harmony. It’s really worth going out so early in the morning to enjoy this beautiful moment.
About the shot itself, this is a single RAW file, shot at ISO 100 | ƒ14 | 30 Secs. I used Hitech .9s ND Grad and Lee 105MM Circular Polarizer to balance the bright sky and also to saturated the colors. I processed the RAW file with Digital Photo Professional and then the file transferred into Photoshop for basic adjustments.

I wish everyone have a great weekend!
Welcome to DQ – 1st Visit
Finally I made it to Darul Quran mosque in Kuala Kubu Baru. Actually I was going to Chilling waterfalls near KKB and when I was on my way there, I saw the famous mosque. Then I decide to stop by on my way back to take some photos. I was so excited, yes the mosque was really beautiful with those mountains on the background and the lake tranquil is so peaceful. Just that I was there at the wrong time. Surely will revisit for sunrise or sunset shooting soon!
Here’s the picture that I manage to get! Have a great weekend guys!
Marching Cloud of As-Salam
Salam Jumaat everyone..
This shot was taken just before fasting month, a simple outing with my friend Fakhrul Tahfiz at As-Salam Mosque, Puchong Perdana.
Actually this is my first time visiting this mosque. I was very lucky to catch the mosque light in my shot and seconds after that the light went off. Also very fortunate for me to catch those marching cloud in my shot.
To all my Muslim friend, happy fasting & may Allah bless us all..Have a good day everyone!
