This photography tour will span over ten days and will take you to some of the most amazing locations in South Island of New Zealand. From snow-capped mountains of the Southern Alps, lakes, waterfalls, river stream, to the coastline with too many highlights to list out. But what is guaranteed is that you will be presented with most amazing scenes during the trip!

We can reasonably expect clear skies during the specific date with long period of visibility for Milky Way. Unique star features include the Southern Cross and Magellanic Clouds, Satellite Galaxies to the Milky Way that are only visible in the southern hemisphere.

This is the trip for landscape photography lovers. We are landscapers ourselves thus we know exactly what you want from the trip. Not a mere sightseeing-snap shooting but 10 days of pure unadulterated landscape photography bliss!

• Ample time to explore and shoot many highlights of the South Island at the best time of the year (and day) (Lake Tekapo, Mount Cook, Lake Pukaki, Tasman Lake (Iceberg), Moeraki Boulders, Nugget Points, Te Anau, Milford Sound, Glenorchy, Queenstown, Lake Wanaka, Lindis Pass and more!)

• Basic shooting guide on location (composition, camera settings, etc)

• Exciting travel experience by campervan

• Experience the clearest night sky in South Island for stargazing

• Moderate weather conditions depending on season

• Post-processing tips during the tour at suitable interval and more comprehensive post-processing lessons after the trip

• Two package available : (i) 4 person and (ii) 9 person

Location

Transportation and Accommodation
Campervan with beds, kitchen n bath (self-sufficient). We will also check in to few powered campsites with facilities for bath and laundry.

Meals
Whole trip – Joint cooking task for 4 persons package, designated cook for 9 person package

Suitable for everyone who love landscape photography and admiring beautiful scenery. Special photography workshop available upon request(additional charges applied).

Day 2

Lake Tekapo sunrise

Depart to Glentanner Park (Mount Cook National Park), with brief photo stops at

– Pukaki Lakeside

– Peter’s Lookout

Mount Cook National Park track to Hooker Valley

– Sunset @ Hooker Valley / Hooker Lake

– Milky Way at Glentanner Campsite / Aoraki

Day 3 

Sunrise at Tasman lake (Glacier view with crystal iceberg)

Depart to Moeraki, brief stop at

– Twizel Town

– Salmon Farm

Penguin watch & Sunset at Katiki Lighthouse

Day 4  

Sunrise at Moeraki Boulders

Depart to Caitlins, brief stops at Dunedin Town

Seal watch & sunset at Nuggets Point Lighthouse

Day 5  

Sunrise at Nuggets Point

Depart to waterfalls :

Depart to Te Anau
