The plan was to have sunrise at Glenorchy, but everyone overslept so we ended up having the sunrise here somewhere around Lake Wakatipu. The scene reminds me of ‘Mordor’ in the Lord of The Rings movie. 🙂 Just for your guys info, shot was taken using zoom telephoto lens, Canon EF 70-200 f/2.8.

Our first night freedom camping in New Zealand is by this lakeside, Lake Pukaki. It was the night that all of us were almost frozen to death (not really to death, but it was super freaking cold!). I was wearing 4 layers of cloth including my windbreaker jacket, 3 pairs of socks, a snowcap, pair of glove on the night when I was sleeping but yet I still feel damn cold. I was the earliest one to woke up because I couldn’t stand the cold. But everyone else still sleeping like they never give damn about the cold weather.
It was a great feeling to wake up in the morning and get to see this amazing view. It’s just priceless! 🙂

Assalamualaikum wr wbt and very good morning everyone. Another shot from Lake Tekapo, I told you guys the lake is so beautiful hence so many photo from here. :p I think this is my favourite photo that I captured from New Zealand. I was wondering around on the lake shore by myself because everyone else is busy shooting the church up in the ground. As I was setting my camera, I’ve found this cool rock formation that leads across the lake to the snow-capped mountains. The sunset colours were simply stunning! The pastel look colours from the clear sky makes the picture (I think).  Anyway, hope you guys like it! 🙂

Assalamualaikum wr wbt and good day everyone. My next photo from New Zealand adventure trip is called Starry Night at Church of The Good Shepherd. The place is located at Lake Tekapo itself and it is known as the best place to watch millions on stars in New Zealand and that is so true! We went to New Zealand on Spring which makes it no lupines flower for us, too bad right. But I think that might be the reason why the night we shooting at this place not so many people around. That is the best part!
It was getting cold and colder as the nightfall. But everyone including myself seems not to be bothered by the cold weather because we were so excited to see the milky way with our bare eyes! :p
Lens used: Samyang 14mm f/2.8 (best lens ever for milky way! and it’s cheap 🙂 )

Assalamualaikum wr wbt and very good morning everyone! So my New Zealand photo continues with this sunset view still from Lake Tekapo. It was taken not directly to where the sun setting, but still it produces some pastel looking colors which is amazing for me. This might be because of the super clear sky!

An evening at Lake Tekapo, just before the sunset. As I remember right after arrived at this place, everyone was so excited. Once I have all my gears with me, I head off the campervan and walk straight to the lake shore. O Allah, I was speechless when I reached the shore. It was so beautiful. The lakeside view with snow-capped mountains has take my breath away.
