Went out to shoot sunrise at Masjid Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah or better known as Masjid Biru Shah Alam. It was another typical morning, cloudy as usual. But good to be out early in the morning.

Have not been out shooting for sometime due to Covid lockdown, on 7th June 2020 I manage to go out to shoot after the lockdown ended. Location is Putra Mosque in Putrajaya.
Assalamualaikum & Salam Jumaat everyone.
This shot was taken last Sunday during a timelapse shooting lesson with a friend of mine, Kamrul. Supposedly Danial is joining us, but he chose the pillow more over this amazing sunrise.

Assalamualaikum wr wbt and good day everyone. Just want to share my recent photo from Darul Quran mosque sunrise shooting.
Below is the before and after image of it. As you can see, there are few of my fellow photographer friends in the shot, hence making the shot looks kinda distracting. So what I did is I use the lasso tool and content-aware to removed them from the shot.
Now you can see the final image is much more better right! 🙂
Sorry guys, just had to removed you from the shot lah :p

Assalamualaikum wr wbt and very good morning to everyone. Alhamdulillah, thank you Allah for giving us the chance to meet Ramadhan again this year. It’s a very special month for every muslim in the world. Ramadhan is a holy month where every muslim will fast from dawn until sunset.
About Ramadhan:
Ramadhan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar; Muslims worldwide observe this as a month of fasting. This annual observance is regarded as one of the Five Pillars of Islam. The month lasts 29–30 days based on the visual sightings of the crescent moon, according to numerous biographical accounts compiled in hadiths. The word Ramadan comes from the Arabic root ramida or ar-ramad, which means scorching heat or dryness. Fasting is fardh (obligatory) for adult Muslims, except those who are ill, travelling, pregnant, diabetic or going through menstrual bleeding.
While fasting from dawn until sunset, Muslims refrain from consuming food, drinking liquids, smoking, and engaging in sexual relations; in some interpretations they also refrain from swearing. Food and drink is served daily, before sunrise and after sunset. According to Islam, the thawab (rewards) of fasting are many, but in this month they are believed to be multiplied. Fasting for Muslims during Ramadan typically includes the increased offering of salat (prayers) and recitation of the Quran.

Assalamualaikum and good day everyone. First of all, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my muslim Brothers and Sisters, Salam Ma’al Hijrah 1434. May this year brings us more barakah and rahmat from Allah Subhanawataala and benefit from the knowledge Allah has bestowed upon us. Amin ya rabbal alamin. .
The meaning of Maal Hijrah in English is migration. On this day, Muslim remember Prophet Muhammad S.A.W migrate from Mecca to Madinah on the year 622 A.D. Besides, Maal Hijrah also mean changes from bad to good and a starting point to evaluate inner-self on self achievement.
May Allah make it a year of Taqwa and Iman for all muslims Insya’Allah. 🙂
About the shot: A tranquil sunrise at Masjid Likas, Kota Kinabalu Sabah. It was a wonderful morning, the sun rises with beautiful yellow-orange colors. I took this shot using the 2 stop graduated neutral density filter along with circular polarizer. Masking approach is use to recover highlights of the mosque because with the right exposure in the sky, the mosque is under-exposed by few stops.

Bismillah..Assalamualaikum
It was a lovely morning, this shot was taken on our first day in Sabah. This mosque is amazingly beautiful with the lake around it and it gave a nice reflection when the water’s not moving.
